Cutest Chipmunk In Bryce Canyon

We discovered this little beggar at the top of a really long climb up from the bottom of Bryce Canyon, UT. I spotted him first and figured as we got closer he’d dart off and that would be that.

Ahh, but he was tame – or hungry – or something…

So, I s-l-o-w-l-y pull out my camera and 70-200 lens and start popping off shots.

And he started posing! What a ham!

I distinctly remember snapping this photograph – I looked and his little hands, sorry, paws, and couldn’t believe I was grabbing such a cute shot of this tiny fella. He tossed a few more poses our way, but this shot was, by far, the cutest of the bunch.
